These block steps and paver brick walkway were built at a home in Bethlehem. With the house being on a hill, there was no access from the front door to the driveway without walking over the lawn and up and down the hill slope.
First the sod was cut through and the earth was leveled off to the desired height and width. Then retaining wall blocks were installed as steps. Paver bricks formed a walkway from the front steps of the home, to a 90-degree angle landing and then down over the bricks ending at a landing parallel to the driveway. The final product was both practical and literally gave the home some ‘curb-side appeal.
